Why The Journey Church

We believe the Bible is God’s Word and thus embodies complete and absolute truth and that the Bible’s teachings are applicable to all times and all cultures. Rather than becoming less relevant in a world that increasingly embraces a non -biblical view, this Truth is as applicable as ever in providing answers to life’s deeper questions, governing our actions and preparing us for eternity.

Acts 2:38

Our primary goal is leading people to Jesus Christ and then pointing them to His purpose for their lives. This means winning lost souls to God, guiding them to become born again according to the Scriptures, and teaching newcomers after they have been born again, so that they become true disciples of Jesus Christ and find their own place of ministry in God’s kingdom.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
